Guy Marsala is a proven plug-and-play, been-there-done-that executive, with the track record to prove it. He’s been called “Go-To-Guy” because of his consistent ability to deliver big results, fast, often in the most difficult and critical times. Until recently, Guy was President and CEO of EZ Lube. He was hired by Goldman Sachs to revitalize this company and position it for sale, following compliance and financial challenges that led to its 2008 bankruptcy. In less than two years, EZ Lube’s value more than doubled and a sale to a strategic buyer was completed ahead of schedule. ACG (The Association for Corporate Growth) named EZ Lube “Company of the Year” for 2011 in the “Reinventing” category and the Orange County Business Journal profiled the turnaround in a front-page feature.

Mr. Marsala’s impressive record also includes a tenfold market capitalization increase at a music/software entertainment distributor and, at Jostens, the reversal of 15 years of declining performance, with the restoration of double-digit sales and profit growth. He played a lead role in the integration of Corporate Express and BT Office Products, an acquisition lauded by BusinessWeek that generated a return on investment for shareholders of 129% in the first year post-merger. Mr. Marsala, a West Point graduate, has also held senior executive positions with Hollywood Video, Corinthian Colleges, and ARAMARK. Earlier, he progressed through positions of increased responsibility with American Hospital Supply Corporation and PepsiCo, after serving as a Captain in the Army.
Learn from Mr. Marsala…How do you find these opportunities? And once you do, how do you make an immediate impact? What’s your playbook and how can you insure that it will work, regardless of the industry? Join us on Thursday, October 18 and find out.
