As a prominent member of the OC Angel scene, Frank is uniquely qualified to give us the latest info on investments in OC ventures during 2009.
Years ago Frank founded Plaid Brothers Software which developed portfolio management systems for Wall Street firms. After bootstrapping the company for 15 years he sold it in 1998 to Sungard Data Systems.
Since then, Frank has been an active investor in early-stage companies. He was a founding member of Charlotte Angel Partners in Charlotte, North Carolina. Then he moved to Orange County and joined the Tech Coast Angels, eventually becoming Chairman.
Frank is an active member of the OC angel investor scene. He is a prolific podcaster; (check out www.TheFrankPetersShow.com) where he interviews entrepreneurs and angel investors.
Frank is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine. He has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters degree in Computer Science from UCLA.
