Ed will teach us how to use Social Media Networks for Business. He will show profitable ways to use social network technology for building markets and will explore emerging trends in enterprise-level applications and utilities.
Ed Peterson spent almost twenty years in the trenches of consumer goods marketing before becoming a full-time evangelist for the Social Media culture that is changing how companies serve their customers.
As an Atlanta-based marketing consultant, Ed advises organizations on the implementation of Social Media platforms and the use of inbound marketing techniques. He also maintains the internet portal “Corner Store Media.com” as a resource for small business owners needing basic social media skills.
Prior to his consulting work, Ed led corporate marketing, strategic planning and investor relations for Test Rite, a $1.2 billion Taiwanese sourcing company. Ed held a variety of senior sales and marketing positions before entering the China game. His colorful past includes a stint with Christie's in London and a gig as a toilet salesman in the Midwest.
Ed is a native of Northwest Arkansas, and has an MBA from Georgia State University and a BA from Westminster College (MO). He is designated as a Certified eMarketer by the eMarketing Association.
