From 1980 to 1984, Mr. Ueberroth was President of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee responsible for staging the 1984 Summer Olympics. He was Commissioner of major League Baseball between 1984 and 1989. He is currently Managing Director of Contrarian Group, an investment and management company, Owner and Co-chairman of the Pebble Beach Company and a member of the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company.
